People eat slowly for a number of reasons; WLS patients are forced to eat slowly after their operation and are also forced to learn how to be satisfied with less food intake; I have read many testimonies and practically all of them feel deprived after the operation, not to mention that bariatric surgery (The generic term for several WLS procedures) cost thousands of dollars and you need to "qualify" for it.

By the way; the term "qualify" is very often used in marketing to make people to long (Or yearn) for something; I do not doubt that most Doctors have your best interests in mind when they decide if you "qualify" for the procedure but I want you to be aware that this is a multimillion dollar industry and some procedures even have a registered Trademark.

Anyway, I do not understand why you need a surgical procedure to make you feel full If you can accomplish that simply by drinking water before and with your meal  and you can satisfy your hunger simply by eating slowly; Google "eating slowly" or go to www.EatSlowlySite.com
